Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. ABA-LLC provides Speech Therapy through the application of principles, methods, and procedures for the measurement, testing, audiometric screening, identification, appraisal, determination of prognosis, evaluation, consultation, remediation, counseling, instruction and research related to the development and disorders of pharyngeal sensorimotor competencies for the purpose of designing and implementing programs for the amelioration of these disorders and conditions. Persons diagnosed with conditions or disorders affecting speech, voice, verbal, and written language, cognition/communication, or oral and pharyngeal sensorimotor competencies shall be eligible to receive Speech Therapy Services that must be performed by a Speech-language pathologist (Speech Therapist). You will work closely with patients of all ages, including children in school settings and those requiring early intervention services. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for your patients through effective speech therapy techniques.
The Contractor Agrees to Provide Speech Therapy That Is:
- A physician-ordered evaluation of a participant with a speech, hearing, or language disorder;
- A physician-ordered habilitative service in a specified amount and duration to assist a participant with a speech and language disability in obtaining the best possible level of functioning;
- Must be medically necessary for the participant;
- Exclusive of maintenance or the prevention of regression;
- Must have a prior authorization by Medicaid.
- Provided by a speech language pathologist who is licensed by the state and maintains those certificates.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech and language disorders.
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication.
- Ability to assess patient needs effectively and develop appropriate treatment plans.

This is a contract position that will be paid hourly. Hourly pay ranges from $55 to $65 per hour.
